Removal of existing roof and rooflights. Redecoration of steel trusses. Installation of reinforced bitumen membrane roofing system. New rooflights fitted.
Works were scheduled to take place whilst the market remained open and, therefore, a key challenge to overcome was to ensure that opening hours would not be affected and that delivery traffic to and from the site would remain unrestricted so as not to impact on businesses or customers using the facility.
