St. Mary’s and St. John’s CE Primary School

The project involved the installation of new roofing coverings to both flat and pitched roof areas, utilising both an Alumasc Euroroof Mastergold system and a Redland system respectively. The pitch roofing works, undertaken at the School’s Nursery block, covered a total area of approximately 200m² and involved the stripping of the existing slates and breather membrane, followed by the installation of firing pieces to existing rafters to increase the pitch of the new roof tile, which was installed in accordance with the Redland Specmaster specification.

The flat roofing elements of the works incorporated the application of the new system following the stripping of the existing system to the deck (roof areas 4A, 4B & 6). No issues or disturbances were reported during the delivery of the project, which was completed within time and budget.
