Delivery of a retrofit roofing project at Warwick Low-rise Estate for Westminster City Council. The works, which were grant-funded, was a flagship retrofit project for the Council, which is committed to becoming a carbon neutral Council by 2030. The anticipated reduction in carbon emissions at Warwick Low-rise Estate is 55,000kg per annum, with the new PV array system generating 290,000kWh per year – enough for approximately 100 households (an average household uses 2,900kWh per year).
The works, which were undertaken across nine residential blocks, involved the installation of Bauder PV photovoltaic panels, alongside associated works. The panels, which were extremely quick to install, provide a cost-effective and highly efficient solution for retrofit works of this type.
